Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Chilton County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 2+ years on the tools preferred.
