Ironing operator — Henry County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Henry County, Virginia. The job is at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
