Crane rigger — Candler County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Candler County, Georgia. You will be based at a container port. Your main tasks: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
