We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Highland County, Ohio. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
