Solid plasterer — Jere

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Jere, Borno State. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Day-to-day duties: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around ₦260,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
