Press shop operator — Mecklenburg County

Join our team: we are hiring a press shop operator in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
