Pressman wanted in Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Monroe County, Iowa. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
