CO2 welder — Chaves County

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Chaves County, New Mexico. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Performance bonus on top of base pay.
