Gas installation technician • Passaic County, New Jersey

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. On a typical shift you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
