Single needle operator — Alpena County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Alpena County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
