Panel technician — North Somerset

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel technician in North Somerset, England. The job is at a commercial fleet workshop. You will strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes 1+ years on the tools preferred.
