Tile setter wanted in Lenoir County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile setter in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will work in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. On the job you will handle: • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
