Turning centre operator — Oxfordshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Oxfordshire, England. You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
