Rigger — Camden County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Camden County, New Jersey. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
