Gas installation technician — Ford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Ford County, Illinois. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
