Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Barbour County, Alabama. Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift.
