Prep cook • Bell County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a prep cook in Bell County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen On a typical shift you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $7,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
