Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Genesee County, Michigan. You will work at a busy bakery. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
