Safety marshal — Wirt County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Wirt County, West Virginia. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions On a typical shift you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS).
