Shuttering and concrete hand — Seneca County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Seneca County, New York. You will work on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Day-to-day duties: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
