You should have: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding Day to day you will replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; carry out oil and filter changes; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
