Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based in a toolroom. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
