Sheet metal welder — Johnson County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Johnson County, Nebraska. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
