Shuttering fixer — Illela

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Illela, Sokoto State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to read formwork and structural drawings ₦1,550 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
