Stitching operator — Etinan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Etinan, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 6+ years on the tools preferred.
