Brickwork mason — Otsego County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Otsego County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Part-time with flexible hours. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
