Render and set plasterer — Champaign County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Champaign County, Ohio. You will be based at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Your main tasks: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Full-time with occasional weekends.
