Marble fitter — Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in Polk County, Oregon. You will be based on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish You should have: • Own hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
