Argon welder — Dickens County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Dickens County, Texas. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
