Now hiring: ladle pourer (Minnesota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. You will be based on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
