You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours.
