MIG/MAG welder — Castro County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Castro County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
