System formwork carpenter • Monroe County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Monroe County, Alabama. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. You will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
