Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Sioux County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
