We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Stewart County, Tennessee. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Overtime paid at a premium rate.
