Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Part-time with flexible hours.
