Foundry worker — Pasquotank County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
