Lathe programmer-operator — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Jefferson County, Arkansas. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
