Bread baker — Johnson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bread baker in Johnson County, Kansas. You will be based in a bread factory. Your main tasks: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
