Steam press operator — Perkins County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Perkins County, Nebraska. The job is at a garment factory. Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time with occasional weekends.
