Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto painter in Dikwa, Borno State. The job is at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Your main tasks: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
