Lathe operator — Rio Grande County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Rio Grande County, Colorado. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Full-time, day shift.
