Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Hardin County, Kentucky. The job is at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts.
