Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Alexander County, Illinois. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $10,750 per project plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
