Immediate opening: panel welder (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Washita County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
