Glazing assistant — Eilean Siar

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Eilean Siar, Scotland. Day to day you will install toughened and laminated safety glass; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. You should have: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
