Die-casting operator wanted in Wood County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Wood County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
