Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Walsh County, North Dakota. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
