Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Jefferson County, Missouri. The job is on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
