Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Chatham County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
